First D - 2001/02 - Rules

Opening '01: Round robin, one leg (17 weeks).
Closing '02: Round robin, one leg switching the home/away condition (17 weeks).
Promotion: If a same team win both championship, they are promoted to First C. Otherwise, both champions advance to semifinals as well as best 2 of the overall standings (Opening + Closing). They play semis in one leg and final in two legs. Only one will be promoted to First C.
Relegation: Relegation Standings. Worst team will lose affiliation for one year.
